Phillipians 3:10 I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings

1.  Read: 1Pet 2:19-21.  What is the “this” of “this purpose” to which we have been called?

2.  Read: Eph. 2:11-18.  What is the cross about?  Why did Jesus have to die such a horrible death?

3.  The resurrection is one of the two aspects of Jesus life the world rejects, immaculate conception and the resurrection.  Read: 1Cor. 15:12-28.  What is the importance of the resurrection for us?

4.  While rejoicing in the resurrection, why is it important also to study Jesus’ suffering?
