III. Foreshadowing

DISCUSSION Q4 Joseph, Moses, and David are all Christ types, foreshadowing of Jesus.  Pick one, read about him and describe how he was a Christ type and how he fell short.

                                                   the Lord’s imminent return.

                       5b. Are we in the end times?  Back up your answer with

                             current events and scripture.

          D.  DISCUSSION Q6. Jesus said no one but the Father knows when Jesus will return. (Mk. 13:32) Read Mt. 24:3-31.  How does Jesus’ warning affect you?

          E.  Conclusion:  

          1.  We will not go through the tribulation.  We will be raptured.  Those who come to faith during the tribulation will suffer. To go through the suffering and not have the hope of heaven will be a terrible thing.  That is why the Lord also said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the and the Holy Spirit”  (Matt. 24: 14, 28: 19)  The unsaved do not know.  Reaching the unsaved through our prayers and our lives is an assignment the Lord has given us all.
